Cover analysis:

It’s very beautiful and ethereal. Inspired by the swan maiden myth, Feather Bound is inherently a modern day fairy-tale, but with the dark themes that myth implies. Magic, glitz and glamor on one hand – bondage, slavery and suffering on the other. I think the cover really captures that with the white and black color scheme. And of course the feathers are gorgeous 🙂

HOLY CRAP I have a book coming out. LIKE FOR REAL? LOL it’s like it’s JUST hitting me!

My YA Debut Feather Bound comes out May 2014 – watch this blog for news and updates! And yeah, I’ll definitely be updating it more. I kinda fail when it comes to finding topics to blog about but I’m a black, female geek PhD Cultural Studies student who loves TV and is obsessed with her 90s childhood, so it shouldn’t be so hard, right? 😀
