Meeting Goals!

So I’ve been in my writing cave for the past…um…let’s just say I’ve been in my cave so long I hissed and scattered back inside the second a stepped out and the light hit my eyes.

But it was all worth it. I just finished the first edits on my English thesis and am THIS MUCH CLOSER to submitting it for defense. YES! That’s almost 300 pages of pure theory baby!

Werk!

On the Fate of Flames front, I’ve been seeing reviews pour in for the book and I can’t be more excited. I love it all – the great, the good, the bad, the ugly. I’m just so happy and appreciative that there exists human beings on this Earth who are actually voluntarily reading something I wrote! It takes time to read a book, time you can be spending towards something else, no matter whether you love it or hate it I’m very grateful you’ve spent your time on my book! It just makes me THAT much more excited to get Book 2 finished, though it really is helpful to shut everything out when you’re writing the sequel.

Speaking of Fate of Flames, if you haven’t had a chance to win an ARC, but badly want one, don’t fret! Goodreads will be doing a giveaway! It’s still a ways away – the giveaway starts October 7 and ends Oct 21 – but I’ll keep reminding you guys as we get closer to the date!
