A Quick Message to My Readers!

Over the past little while, I’ve been able to read so many wonderful messages and emails from fans of the Effigies Series, and I’ve got to say….

Thank you!

I’ve heard so many different stories from different people of different walks of life who have all found something to relate to in The Effigies, whether it’s the characters, the plots, the themes, the fantasy. There’s something for everyone. Sometimes when you’re a writer, you forget the power and potential of your own words. I’ve been so concentrated on the future stuff that I almost forgot that the past stuff is still new for a lot of people, still living and breathing, and even inspiring readers. So thank you for your messages! You guys are the reason why I keep writing!

One thing a fan said really did make me think: that the girls have helped her believe that she can do anything. Characters can be an inspiration, not just for readers, but for writers too and I try to remember that, especially when things get tough (and things will always get tough – it’s a part of life – but there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel). Keep believing in the best – in yourself, in others, and in the future. For those who are religious, believe in your faith too. Never give up, and never stop trying to reach your dreams!
