Updates!

So fam! Amazing things have been happening!! My head is spinning with all this publishing excitement!!

First off, and this is probably the most important update: the title for DOLL SOLDIERS HAS CHANGED! That’s right, my book series now has a different title, a BETTER title, so please be aware! I’ll let you know when I can share.

This past week, my amazing editor officially presented the series to the Simon&Schuster team so I’m happy to say that the book is launched and we are ago for a Fall 2016 release! One year. I can’t believe that by this time next year, I’ll be holding the hardcover of my book in my hands. Just makes me want to dive right back into book 2- definitely not a bad motivator, right? And just in time for Nanowrimo!

In the mean time, I’ve been a busy be, writing, editing, reading, both on the creative side and the academic side. And I just saw the cover of the Dark Artifices and I’m weeping because it’s so beautiful. I’m going to have to resurrect Monday Wishlist lmao.

Actually, I used to look at those YA book covers and kind of feel depressed, wondering whether it’d be my turn one day. Don’t give up people. Whatever work you have, just keep powering through. It’s worth it in the end!
