Word on the Street Event in Toronto
So yesterday my family dragged me to go see Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey at the Air Canada Center. We got there a bit late, but I’m glad I got to see my girl Mimi in the flesh.
Let it be known I was only here for Mariah! pic.twitter.com/6EddyeHdlT

Never underestimate how great hit songs sound like when they’re being played by a live band. Lionel was amazing too, though I barely knew any of his songs, I recognized a few: Brick House, Three Times a Lady, Hello and All Night Long. Those were fun to jam to lol.
I now realize that all the artists I’ve seen in concert are people considered ‘past their prime’ and yet I had the best time listening to their hits. See? Down with ageism!
Oh and by the way, anyone in the Toronto area in late September interesting in coming to see a bunch of cool authors like myself and DAVID SUZUKI Need to come to the Word on the Street event.
Lots of great events for book lovers! And did I mention David Suzuki? And me! You can choose who you’d rather see 🙂
Anyway, now the Siege of Shadows ARCs are out, if you won a copy, make sure to let me know what you think! I’m going to be trying to win a few ARCs of my own… 😀
